Philly Engagement Shoot with Pizza at Corinthian Gardens

Engagement photo of couple eating Pitruco pizza on the wall of Corinthian Gardens in Philadelphia

It was a gorgeous September day in Philly for Leah and Alex’s engagement shoot. We started off on their rooftop with their adorable pup, Shiloh, and the Philadelphia skyline behind us. I love engagement shoots like this - chill and fun, but still romantic and unique to the couple. Leah and Alex brought me along on the same route I’m sure they’ve walked hundreds of times before, making pitstops at all of their favorite spots. We strolled down Brandywine Street and admired all of the beautiful townhomes as the sun peeked through the trees. Our destination was Pitruco Pizza truck (it was delicious), stationed outside the massive walls of the old Eastern State Penitentiary. If you’ve followed me on Instagram long enough, you know how passionate I get about pizza. I definitely geeked out and told Leah and Alex all about how Dom and I make sourdough pizza at home. They found a spot to sit on the wall of Corinthian Gardens and shared a slice of pizza as pure joy filled their faces.
