Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2025

Cassie Castellaw Photography LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through our website, cassiecastellaw.com, or when you work with us directly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

  • Sign up for our newsletter or email updates (email address only).

  • Access your online photo gallery hosted through Pic-Time (name and email address, as requested by Pic-Time).

We may also automatically collect certain technical data through cookies and analytics tools when you visit our website (see Section 3 below).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate about bookings.

  • Deliver client galleries, proposals, and contracts.

  • Improve our website’s performance and user experience.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for profit.

3. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site. This helps us improve performance and user experience.

We use:

  • Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous website usage data.

  • Pinterest Tag and Meta Pixel for marketing analytics and advertising performance.

These tools may use cookies or pixels to gather non-identifiable information such as page views, browser type, device, and general location. You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer not to share this information.

4. Email Marketing

We do not share or sell our mailing list.

5. How We Store and Protect Your Data

We use trusted third-party platforms to collect and store your information securely:

  • Dubsado for inquiry forms and client communication

  • Pic-Time for online galleries

  • Squarespace for website hosting and email marketing

Each platform has its own security and privacy standards in place. We access your personal data only as needed to communicate with you, fulfill services, or manage your account.

6. Your Rights (For EU/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data.

  • Request corrections or deletion of your data.

  • Withdraw consent for data processing (for example, by disabling cookies or unsubscribing from emails).

To exercise any of these rights, please email studio@cassiecastellaw.com.

7. Use of AI Tools

We use trusted AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and maintain a consistent editing style. These include ImagenAI, Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and ChatGPT by OpenAI.

When editing photos, full client galleries are securely uploaded to ImagenAI, which applies Cassie’s custom editing profile and assists with adjustments such as color grading and straightening of horizon lines. ImagenAI’s system uses these uploads only to refine Cassie’s private editing preferences — it does not use client images to train public AI models or make them accessible to others.

AI tools are also occasionally used for administrative or writing support (for example, drafting or refining wording), but all final edits, communications, and deliverables are personally reviewed and approved by Cassie before being shared with clients.

All platforms used follow industry-standard security and privacy practices to protect client data.

8. Data Retention

We retain client and inquiry information for as long as necessary to fulfill our business obligations and maintain accurate records (for example, tax or contract purposes).

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or relevant laws. The updated version will always be available on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

10. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please contact us at studio@cassiecastellaw.com.
