Effortlessly Chic Back Yard Wedding Reception in Larchmont, New York

This is part two of Nicole and Scott’s wedding. Be sure to check out part one here.

After their ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, we made our way to Nicole and Scott’s home for their reception. They had originally booked The Burden Kahn Mansion, but due to the pandemic, it was still closed. Nicole and Scott joked that they basically bought their house so they had a place to celebrate their wedding, as they closed on the house just a month prior. I can’t think of a better way to warm a new house and fill it with love.

After a quick bustle on Nicole’s dress and an outfit change for Scott, we were ready for the party to start.

After their first dance and cocktail hour, everyone sat for dinner at one long table adorned with lush greenery and pops of gold, with bistro lights hanging overhead. The Veuve was flowing and Eventfull NYC brought out course after course of the most delicious meal I’ve ever had at a wedding.

After toasts, it was time to get up and dance. Nicole changed into an incredible Balmain sequin blazer dress and pink Amina Muaddi slingback heels and hit the dance floor….and then later changed into another short stunner with beaded fringe. I live for an outfit change! Get the short, fun reception dress. You won’t regret it!
